Sharing is what connects us and what makes us human. Our bond is that we are mothers to angels.

The Angel Mommy Project was created to share REAL | LIFE stories of love, loss and healing. When we found out our daughter Alexa no longer had a heartbeat at 34 weeks and would be stillborn we were devastated. You never plan to leave the hospital with empty arms and a broken heart but that was our reality on December 10, 2012.

I read this quote a few years ago and it encouraged me to share my story a few months after our loss on the Return To Zero film blog. “It’s important that we share our experiences with other people. YOUR story will heal you and your story will heal somebody else. When you tell your story, you free yourself and give other people permission to acknowledge their own story.” -Iyanla Vanzant

It wasn’t easy to sit down and relive those hours leading up to the moment we found out our daughter had passed and then the days, weeks, months that followed BUT it was WORTH IT. I knew that if I shared my story and it helped even one mommy get thru her darkest days after a loss, then it was worth it. I’ve always wanted to help other mamas heal, help them thru their grief, give them hope and now we are doing just that!

The Angel Mommy Project is not just about my loss, it’s about moms helping each other to heal by sharing our experiences and breaking the silence on Stillbirth, Miscarriage & Infant Loss.
